United Trading Services is happy to announce its membership in the EPA's Green Power Partnership Program. As a financial company, UTS prides itself on risk management. The employee's along with the management team of UTS perceives climate change to be a risk to its assets, business, clients and daily operations. In order to hedge our exposure and help mitigate the consequence of climate change, UTS is proud to announce the purchase of renewable energy for 100% of its total electricity usage. As the first completely Green Powered derivitives and trading firm we hope others will follow our lead and do the same. Our electricity comes from emission free projects in the United States.

What else UTS is doing to help the environment

UTS pays for transportation of any employee who utilizes public transit to get to work.

UTS turns off all non-essential computers and lights afterhours and on weekends.

UTS discourages excess printing of documents, using email over fax to open accounts and buying receycled paper products for our machines.

All UTS employees have personal coffee mugs and water cups to reduce waste of disposable drinking cups

We recycle all paper waste and kitchen waste thru the building recycle program.
